David Post, a former full-time law enforcement officer and a reserve officer since 1975, is chairman of the group. With the group’s effort and hard work, Care for Cops became a reality for Georgia's Law Enforcement in 1999.

Year after year Men and Women put their lives on the line. While most enjoy full, rich lives, others are taken too soon. We provide support to the families of those killed in the line of duty in the state of Georgia.
